Part of my story
I have been an artist all my life. For me, creating art comes naturally.
When I started teaching art, first to kids and later to adults, I realized that to most people it not only didn’t come naturally, but they had been discouraged to even try, and they struggled to express themselves, to connect to their innate intuition which is what one needs to access to create, what creativity and imagination are all about.
Right then I realized that what I loved most was not teaching a particular medium or technique, but to help people unblock and express themselves through art, and thus know themselves, connect to who they really are.
Everybody can and should be able to express themselves in some creative way. I believe that it is imperative for human beings to find some way of expressing themselves. Art in all its many forms is healing. Not only to the creator but also to the perceiver. Making art is not just for artists, everybody has the ability to create. To express themselves.
Even if you don’t plan to be a professional artist, making art helps you connect with parts of yourself in a way that is not so easily accessible through other therapies, because art is a mirror. It can transcend the interference of the mind.
Creativity is needed not just for art, but for life itself. Because Life is Art, which we are creating at every moment.
Being able to access your imagination and/or intuition is the basis for creating the life that you want. Once you start to know yourself and you recognize your beliefs, you can start consciously creating.
To be able to create consciously the life that you desire, you need =
CREATIVITY (imagination) + TRUST (in yourself/faith); which also comes from self knowledge and unconditional love of self.
When you connect to your imagination/intuition you also connect to your true self. When you connect to your true self, you access your natural gifts and talents, and when you do, through a path of self love and acceptance, you start wanting to share these gifts with the world.
This is why I am passionate about this work. The more people who are in touch with their natural gifts and share them from a place of joy and service, the more wonderful this world is going to be!
