MUSIC & ART CAMP
From August 5–9, 2024 -

Ages 5 - 10
Monday, August 5th through Friday, August 9th, from 9 am to 1 pm, with music and art activities sessions and one snack break. We will have a presentation on Friday evening for parents and families. Time to be announced.
Drop-off is at 9 am.
We will have a morning circle with movement/dance, song, and rhythm followed by drum and percussion sessions with Aboubacar Sylla. Then a snack break, and after that we will be making art with Mariana Oppel (Ceramics and another art project).
Pick-up is at 1pm.

Teachers/facilitators:
Aboubacar Sylla is a Master Percussionist from Guinea, West Africa (syllamusic.com).
Mariana Oppel is a multi-faceted Artist, Mom, Expressive Arts Facilitator (About Mariana).
Both have ample experience teaching children of all ages.
This is a quality event where children will learn, do, and create projects taught by professional working artists, with love and care.

Registration closes on JULY 21th, 2024 (or when sold-out, whichever comes first).
All art materials are included and instruments provided. Children need to bring their own snacks and water.
